The final of “Talented Tourism Student Competition” 2024

On the morning of April 23rd, 2024, the final of “Talented Tourism Student Competition” 2024 was organized by the Faculty of Administration - International Economics, which is a rewarding playground, developing tourism guidance skills, handling situations and creating an environment not only for students in Tourism and Travel Management but also for the interest of other students of the Faculty to show their styles, talents, courage and personalities in front of the enterprise, which expands career opportunities and increases competitiveness in the tourism industry. 

Through a challenging first round with almost 50 students, the top 10 competitors are officially on their way to the final race.

The final round of the competition “Talented Tourism Students” this year will be evaluated by judges with significant experience in Travel – Guidelines and Training from the leading enterprises in tourism, including Master Phan Van Hai – Head of Tourism Administration and Operations; Master Vu Duc Cuong – Head of Expertise and Guideline Tourism; Mr. Tran Quang Duy – Director of the Chim Canh Cut Travel Service JSC; Than Van Linh – Director of Tri An Adventure Co.,Ltd, Mr. Hoang Quoc Dat - Director of Hoang Dang Phat Tourism Co.,Ltd.

The contestants demonstrated their talents and deep understanding of Vietnamese culture and history through the final round of presentations. Ten talented tour guides have taken visitors through the emotional arches, from the pride of finding their ethnic origins at the Hung Kings’ Temple to the passion for the poetic beauty of Ha Long Bay and the emotion of setting foot at the House of Uncle Ho in the Lotus Village and other tourist sites in Vietnam.

Charming guidance and good handling of the situation brought Nguyen Minh Phuoc, who is studying at 21QD111, the final victory. Vo Thi Thuy Van, a student of 22QD111, won the second prize. Lu Ngoc Hau, studying at 21ND111, won the third prize.

Third place: Lu Ngoc Hau - 21DN111.

Finally, three consolation prizes also belonged to Nguyen Thi Kim Thoa - 21QD111. Pham Thi Bich Ngan - 22QD111. Le Thi Thu Vien - 21DN111.
