Functions

The Office of Educational Testing and Quality Assurance is an assisting and advising unit of the Board of Rector.

- In charge of educational testing, assessment and quality assurance in accordance with the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance

- Develop, advise the Rector to issue regulations and guidelines on quality assurance in higher education.

- Build, deploy and supervise the implementation of long-term quality assurance and school-year plans.

- Adviser the Rector and implement professional measures for quality assurance: surveys, assessment activities of lecturers' teaching quality, students' learning quality, training supporting activities' quality.

- Research and propose to the Rector to implement solutions to ensure the quality of education. Supervise, and assess the conduct of quality assurance activities at affiliated units.

- Regularly conduct self–assessment and write self-assessment reports, support affiliated units to collect evidence, analyze data and conduct self–assessment in accordance with the university assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

2. Educational Testing

- Advise the Rector in issuing regulations on educational testing in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Training's regulations.

- Preside, coordinate with faculties, departments to build, manage and use the test bank for all training programs.

- Carry out the work of drawing, printing, copying the final-term exam questions, the graduation exam questions in accordance with the security regulations on examination.

- Correctly implement the procedures and processes of test scores, synthesize and process the learning results of learners.

- Organize the management, storage and security of exam questions, tests, test scores as regulated; in charge of coordinating with the Office of Academic Affairs and the Center of Information and Resources to manage test scores across the University.
