LHU to inaugurate over VND 6.7 billion Semiconductor Lab

LHU has announced that on December 23, 2024 it will officially launch the Semiconductor Lab worth more than VND 6.7 billion.

The Semiconductor Lab is equipped with modern and advanced equipment, meeting international standards, meeting the training requirements in the rapidly developing semiconductor industry. It will be the place where students of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics can access, practice and conduct research with real-world devices, thereby improving their professional skills.

In 2024, LHU focuses on research and development in semiconductor microchips, setting it as a strategic task. It has been developing interdisciplinary training programs, launching a new major in Semiconductor Engineering Technology, laying the foundation for the development of "Made in Vietnam" technology products with competitive potential in the international market.

Previously, in January 2024, LHU and Sun Edu International Education Joint Stock Company signed a cooperation agreement to establish a semiconductor integrated circuit center in Dong Nai province. This collaboration marks the beginning of a journey to develop advanced training programs, combining theory and practice. LHU students are not only equipped with professional expertise but also oriented to become high-quality experts, ready to meet the demand for electronics and semiconductor workforce.

The establishment of the Lab not only brings practical benefits to students but also reinforces LHU's position in training high-quality human resources. With the goal of becoming a leading center for training and research in semiconductors in the region, the Lab will be the premise to promote collaboration between the University and domestic and foreign technology enterprises and organizations.
