Commendation ceremony for outstanding students

On November 8, 2023, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, LHU held a ceremony to commend and reward excellent students for the 2023 - 2024 school year. The ceremony aims to motivate, encourage and acknowledge students for their outstanding achievements in studies and competitions.

The ceremony honorably saw the presence of DSc. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector, MSc. Nguyen Trong Vinh - Head of Office of Academic Affairs, Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies; heads of departments, lecturers, staff members and nearly 200 students majoring in Japanese Studies, Korean Studies and Chinese Language.

During the event, the Faculty honored and commended 28 individuals and student groups for their winning prizes at the Eloquence contest, the provincial Oriental Colors Competition, the Chinese Bridge Competition,...Besides, in the 2023-2024 academic year, the University awarded the Faculty of Oriental Studies 165 scholarships including valedictorian scholarships, studious scholarships, science and technology scholarships, corporate scholarships, collaborative scholarships,... These scholarships will be awarded to students of 20th, 21st, 22nd intakes.
