LHU hosts Study in Japan Fair in Dong Nai

LHU and the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO Vietnam) on September 30 jointly organized the program "Study in Japan Fair in Dong Nai”. The program aims to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations in 2023, also to create conditions for students from LHU and other universities to meet, exchange and learn about Japanese education and culture.

At the Fair, there was the participation of Ms. Okamoto Noriko - Second Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam. From the JASSO Vietnam, there were Ms. Osawa Noriko - Head of Representative Office; Ms. Phan Thi Mai and Ms. Vu Minh Hanh - Education consultants. 

LHU was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; Hoang Tien Dung, M.A - Deputy Head of Office of International Affairs; Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong, M.A – Head of Japanese Studies Department; lecturers and 150 students majoring in Japanese Studies.

There was also the presence of representatives from Aomori University, Nagasaki University, Yokohama National University, Tokyo International University, Okayama University, Kyushu University, 30 students from Vinh Cuu High School and students of universities and colleges in Dong Nai.

During the event, representatives from the above universities provided the participants with valuable information about study opportunities and scholarship programs, helping students have an in-depth look at studying and living in Japan.

The Study in Japan Fair also offered students the opportunity to communicate directly with Japanese universities as well as learn about registration methods, procedures, training modules, entrance exams and scholarships.
