The Master's program in Banking and Finance

The MFiBa programme at Lac Hong University is designed to train professionals with comprehensive knowledge and the ability to apply financial and banking principles to real-world contexts, meeting the human resource demands of an evolving financial sector. Launched in 2012, the programme continuously adapts to provide a solid foundation in areas such as banking, corporate finance, public finance, international finance, taxation, and securities trading.

With the mission of delivering education, conducting applied scientific research, and advancing knowledge transfer in finance and banking, the programme is committed to cultivating high-quality human resources. The Faculty nurtures talented individuals with both competence and ethics from undergraduate to postgraduate levels to effectively contribute to national industrialisation and modernisation efforts within the context of international economic integration.

The programme emphasises equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to analyse, manage, and develop financial systems across various sectors. Students benefit from a balanced learning approach that combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications through real-world case studies and research projects.

To date, the Master's Programme in Finance - Banking at Lac Hong University has produced over 132 graduates (2019–2023), who now contribute to government agencies (e.g., tax, treasury, customs), banks, financial institutions, securities companies, and insurance firms. This reflects the programme's stable development and effectiveness in preparing competent financial professionals for the labour market.

With well-equipped classrooms, including projectors, air-conditioning, and modern sound systems, alongside a team of experienced and research-active faculty, the programme ensures a high-quality academic environment that contributes to sustainable economic development and financial innovation.
