The Master's in Information Technology program

The Master's Programme in Information Technology at Lac Hong University is designed to train professionals with in-depth knowledge and the ability to apply technology to real-world scenarios, addressing the workforce demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Launched in 2009, the programme continually evolves to provide a solid foundation in areas such as information systems, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and database management.

With the mission of delivering education, conducting applied scientific research, and transferring advanced technology in computer software, computer networks, and communications, the programme is committed to cultivating high-quality human resources. The faculty nurtures talented individuals with both competence and ethics from undergraduate to postgraduate levels to effectively contribute to the nation’s industrialisation and modernisation efforts within the context of international integration.

The programme emphasises equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement, manage, and develop IT systems across various industries. Students benefit from a balanced approach that combines theoretical learning with practical application through real-world projects and scientific research.

To date, over 390 graduates have completed the Master's Programme in Information Technology at Lac Hong University, reflecting the programme's stable growth and quality in producing highly skilled IT professionals for the labour market.

With modern facilities, including specialised laboratories and high-performance computer systems, along with a team of experienced faculty, the programme ensures the delivery of high-quality human resources, contributing to modernisation and digital transformation across multiple sectors.

Mission of the Master of Information Technology Programme

The Faculty of Information Technology is a unit of LHU to provide training services conduct applied scientific research and advanced technology transfer in the fields of computer software, computer network and communication meeting social needs. The Faculty provides high quality human resources in IT fields, cultivates competent and virtuous talents at undergraduate and postgraduate levels to effectively serve the national industrialization and modernization in the context of international integration.
