LHU students won prizes at the 3rd Dong Nai Province Friendship Melodies Festival

Recently, students majoring in Korean Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, LHU actively participated in the third Dong Nai Province Friendship Melodies Festival 2022 organized by the Dong Nai province's Union of Friendship Organizations in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Dong Nai Radio and Television Station, and Dong Nai Newspaper.

The festival is an annual art and culture exchange activity in order to honor and spread the values ​​of peace and friendship, to introduce to international friends about Vietnamese culture, country and people; as well as create a common playground for associations to enhance cultural diplomacy activities, contributing to enhancing understanding and consolidating the solidarity and friendship between the Vietnamese people, Dong Nai's people and international friends.

The Friendship Melodies Festival was attended by Mr. Pham Tan Linh - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Loan - Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism together with representatives of departments, branches and members of 10 friendship associations: Provincial Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association, Provincial Vietnam - France Friendship Association, Provincial Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association, Provincial Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association, Provincial Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association, Provincial Vietnam - US Friendship Association, Provincial Vietnam - ASEAN Friendship Association, Provincial Vietnam - China Friendship Association, Provincial Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association and Provincial Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association.

In the program, members of friendship associations performed 30 musical repertoires of Vietnam and other countries in singing, dancing and playing musical instruments.

LHU students received Certificates of Merit for their excellent performances at the third Dong Nai Province Friendship Melodies Festival 2022 

Participating in the third Dong Nai Province Friendship Melodies Festival 2022, the LHU - Department of Korean Studies Friendship Branch performed one dancinng item and one bilingual solo singing item. As a result, the Branch excellently won the "Performance with the most beautiful friendship lyrics" Award and the Consolation prize for the student collective participating in the contest.
