Nearly 450 LHU students taken home for Tet

On the evening of January 5, 2025 LHU organized a send-off event to take 448 students home to celebrate Tet with their families. This marks the 6th year that the University has organized this meaningful activity to support students on their journey to reunite with their families.

Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector and representatives of units also attended and presented Tet gifts to the students. 

Previously, on December 22 morning, LHU held the "Bus tickets for Tet 2025" Gala program for students from 52 provinces and cities across the country. At the event, the University received sponsorship worth more than 200 million VND from businesses namely C.P Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company; An Chi Production Trading Service Company Limited; Ever Tech Plastic Viet Nam Company Limited; HD Bank, Dong Nai Branch; Vietcombank, Dong Nai Branch; Dai Huy Hoang Development Company Limited; SHB Bank, Dong Nai Branch; ACB Bank, Dong Nai Branch; Bien Hoa - LHU King Sejong Academy; Esuhai Company Limited; Topkey (Vietnam) Corporation Company Limited; GSB Steel Structure Joint Stock Company; Dr. Tran Hoan from Kenka Math Center (lecturer of LHU); and Mr. Bouysovanna (former student). They also gave many Tet gifts to students with difficult circumstances.

On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, the University directly arranged buses to take students from seven Central provinces and Central Highlands including Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Gia Lai and KonTum back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet.

For students from 45 other provinces and cities, the University provided cash equivalent to the bus ticket cost so that they can proactively buy bus tickets. It also gave 40 Tet gifts with red envelopes each worth 500,000 VND, to 40 students in difficult circumstances. 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector of LHU stated that the bus ticket program not only helps students enjoy a warm spring but also reflects businesses' social responsibilities.

The "Bus tickets for Tet 2025" program has ended with many emotions. It not only spreads the message of love but also affirms the image of LHU as a humane university that always prioritizes its students' benefits.
