Five more Chinese Language majors to study abroad in China

On August 21, 2024, the Department of Chinese Language under the Faculty of Oriental Studies, LHU organized a farewell ceremony for five students going to study abroad in China.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, MA. Phan The Anh - Head of the Department of Chinese Language, MA. Tran Phi Hung - Lecturer, MA. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong - Lecturer, along with students majoring Chinese Language.

Addressing the ceremony, Head of the Department of Chinese Language Phan The Anh said “This is a valuable opportunity for students to experience Chinese culture, earn practical experience, and improve language skills. The Chinese Language Department yearly promotes and expands cooperation relations with universities in China to seek scholarships and study abroad opportunities for students. Also, strengthening cooperation ties with international universities is a top priority in the Department's development strategies.” 

Accordingly, four of the five students majoring in Chinese Language will participate in the 3+2 program at Ludong University and the last one will take part in the Master's program at Minnan Normal University.

Also at the ceremony, Le Chi Truong acted on behalf of the five students to express sincere gratitude and thanks to the Department's leaders and lecturers for their attention and support.
