2019 LHU Student Football and Volleyball Tournament closed

After nearly one month of fierce matches, the Football and Volleyball Tournament for Students closed at LHU Physical Education Center last week. This is a traditional tournament for students at all levels. This year's tournament attracted the participation of 36 teams from nine faculties.

This is an annual activity of LHU to maintain and encourage students to take physical exercise to increase their health. The competition is also a healthy playground for students to promote physical training movement, contributing to implementing comprehensive education target. Hoping that the next season promises a larger scale, more participating teams and more valuable prizes.

At the closing and awarding ceremony, the Organization Board awarded many prizes to excellent teams as follow:

* Male Football category:

- First Prize: Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics

- Second: Faculty of Pharmacy

- Third: Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics

- Best Style: Faculty of Information Technology

- Best goalkeeper: Pham Luat Khoa - Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics

- Scorer: Vo Thanh Thien – Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics

*Female Football category:

- First Prize: Faculty of Pharmacy

- Second: Faculty of International Business Administration

- Third: Faculty of Oriental Studies

- Best Style: Faculty of Finance and Accounting

- Best goalkeeper: Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao – Faculty of Pharmacy

- Scorer: Tran Thi Huyen Tran – Faculty of Pharmacy

* Male Volleyball category:

- First Prize: Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics

- Second: Faculty of Pharmacy

- Third: Faculty of Information Technology

- Best Style: Faculty of Oriental Studies

- Best Athlete: Nguyen Dinh Phong - Faculty of Oriental Studies

Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics won Championship title at both Male Football and Male Volleyball categories

- Second: Faculty of Pharmacy

- Third: Faculty of Chemical and Environmental Engineering
