Training workshop on scientific research for high school students to be held

In order to promote scientific research movement among students across Dong Nai, recently, the provincial Department of Education and Training in cooperation with LHU organized a training program on scientific research and held a science and technology competition for high school students in combination with the field trip experience at LHU.

The training workshop attracted the participation of nearly 300 officials and teachers of high schools in Dong Nai. This is considered as a special attention of leaders of Dong Nai Department of Education and Training, as a lever to promote the scientific research movement among students in the whole province.

At the training workshop, experts provided officials and teachers with information about methods of guiding students to build ideas, select topics, instructing to implement tasks of the training groups, how to divide groups into objects, how to collect information and process data, how to present research products, processes of implementing and evaluating scientific research projects, criteria for evaluating, marking and selecting scientific and technical projects ... This helped the participants visualize their work which will make the scientific research development clearly and practical.

After the training program, the participants visited machine rooms, laboratories, practice rooms, ... of LHU. This is an exciting and enjoyable experience, helping officials and teachers have the most realistic and vivid view on scientific research works of teachers and students in the near future.
