LHU holds Job Fair 2018 for students

LHU on May 26 organized Job Fair 2018 for students. 27 enterprises in Dong Nai province and more than 500 students attended the Fair to explore information on apprenticeship and employment opportunities with over 800 vacancies.

Speaking at the Job Fair this year, Vice Rector Nguyen Van Nam stressed that "LHU holds Job Fair yearly to help students find suitable jobs and experience interviews as well as select companies to take internship. The Fair also creates conditions for the connection between students and enterprises,... Through this event, the University orientates its training strategy accordance with the needs of enterprises and the society, introducing and promoting images, training disciplines, scientific research - technology transfer, strengthening relationships and cooperation with agencies and enterprises".

Connecting businesses, creating jobs for students

According to the statistics of LHU, every year 90% of students graduating after one year are employed. Especially, in early 2018, LHU has signed cooperation with over 800 enterprises and committed that students get jobs immediately after graduation. This greatly contributes to the University’s commitment.

Representing for recruitment companies, speaking at the Fair, Mr. Tran Tan Phat - Director of Human Resources of SeAH Steel Vina Corp. said "Job Fair 2018 of LHU is a favorable environment for enterprises to have an overview of training majors and employment opportunities for students after graduation. Especially through that, we can look for suitable candidates with our human resources strategy and objectives".

As a long-term close partner of LHU, SeAH Steel Vina Corp. is also the annual unit awarding hundreds of millions of VND to LHU's scholarship fund.  Mr. Phat also expressed his happiness that in recent years, the University has continually innovated its curriculum, training contents and expanded its international cooperation relations to provide more qualified human resources to meet the needs of the society.

In addition, the Fair also welcomed alumni as recruiters from FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company, On Semiconductor Company, The Support Co., Ltd .... At the event, they directly shared experience to complete CV, interview skills and especially offered job opportunities for their junior generations.
